Some business miles happen with no shift running. This optional feature records those drives so you can count them for taxes. It’s on Android for now, and off unless you turn it on.
Turn it on
- Open Account and turn on Track drives outside shifts.
- Read Track drives outside shifts? and tap Turn on.
- Allow Physical activity, and set location to Allow all the time if asked.
Your phone’s motion sensing notices when you start driving with no shift running. The app records that drive only, with a notification showing while it does.
Mark the business ones
- Open Account → Drives outside shifts.
- Every drive starts as Personal. Tap a drive, choose Business, and add a Business purpose, such as “Car wash” or “Heading to the airport queue”.
- Tap Save, or Delete to remove a drive.
The top of the page shows the year so far, and how many drives you’ve marked business. Business drives count toward your tax mileage.
